Set up a company blog about skin care. This blog is not only used as a communication outlet for the company but as a place where viewers can interact with the brand. In the six months since launch the number of views already surpassed 4,000 a month and now average about 60-70 views a day consistently with peaks of up to 500/day after each newsletter is sent.

Not only has viewership increased but so has the Google page ranking for targeted keywords. The keyword “Dimethicone-free moisturizers” has my blog post on the first page and now attracts consistent viewers looking for this particular kind of moisturizer. Along with an increased brand presence, sales have increased in targeted areas. Traffic directed to the store from the blog averages around 5-10% of traffic and has directly lead to an increase of several hundred dollars a week alone, if not more.
